What is a Short sale?
A short sale is a situation where a homeowner who is unable to make their mortgage payments or sell the house for enough money to cover the existing mortage negotiates with the bank who owns the mortgage a price to sell the house which is less than what they owe.
Can I buy a foreclosed house or Bank owned house before I sell my own home?
Not usually. Most banks will not accept an offer that is contingent on selling another home. If you are able to get approved for another mortgage without selling your primary home, then you can purchase a foreclosed home.
